It's October 1st and I'm in Los Angeles.  I'm very excited about starting this new journey of my life. I've lived in New York for sometime and now I live in sunny Los Angeles.

I've always been drawn to California and have been wanting to try out LA for sometime now.

I'm very excited about starting this new chapter in my life and exploring this city, so stay tuned for all my adventures!

On the second day of October, I went to Guelaguetza in Koreatown, Los Angeles. I really loved this mural so I decided to take a photo.

On the third of October, I went to KONY (King of New York Pizzeria Pub) and saw some friends from NYU. It's always nice to eat some amazing New York pizza with great company. I would definitely tell people to visit here if they're looking for NYC in LA.  Also, met an awesome black girl from France who works here. Her name is Whitney!

Today, I also met a great Uber driver by the name of Robert who shared an amazing short of him standing up to cops at the tender age of  twenty two as a young black man in LA.

On the fourth day of October, I took it easy. On the fifth day of October, I went to Pinches Tacos in Culver City and met up with some filmmaker friends from NYU.  We ended the day with Al Gelato then went to Sushi 101 and the waiter could not stop hugging me, lol. He said, "He liked me scent."  Later that night, I went to see the Clippers game with a college friend. I was a day shy of seeing the Lakers. I'm a Laker girl! I can't wait to go back to see more games and other events.

On the sixth day of October, my friend and I tried out this cool cafe in Venice. It's got an outdoor section but also a place for shopping inside. Watch out for the dogs though. A dog ended up drinking out of my cup. Besides, that I'd go back to this spot.

 Silverlake, Los Angeles

Silverlake, Los Angeles

On the seventh day of October, my friend and I went to a terrible Thai restaurant with tinted windows. We had a great conversation at a better Thai restaurant with a great rooftop in Koreatown. Later that night, I went to Virgil in Silverlake which was not my scene at all. It reminded me of Williamsburg in Brooklyn. I DO NOT care for that area at all.

On the eight day of October, I met up with some friends from high school and they showed me around LA. We went to the grove, a great shop called Metropolis on La Brea, Hollywood then Beverly Hills. I met a really cool artist named Arturo from Mexico. He was very nice and charismatic. I was glad for the chance to catch up with old friends and conquer LA together.

On the ninth day of October, marks my birthday. I decided to go to Manhattan Beach with some friends from NYU. When we arrived at the beach, three women approached me and asked could they take a photo of me and Papa Noel. They were really sweet.  Later that evening,  I got some soul food at Dulan's on Crenshaw then went to The Standard Hotel (downtown). I will definitely be going to all of these locations again. #greatbday

On the eleventh day of October, I went to the area of Little Armenia in LA. This area reminds me of NYC because people were walking around, riding their bikes, and had many shops near each other.
